Established in 1981 Vining Shipbrokers now operates from three locations - The 680 berth Waikawa Marina in Picton where we have 17 sales berths together with a large number of moorings to help display vessels for sale, our new office on the Nelson Marina (across the road from the Tasman Bay Cruising Club) and in Wellington where our agents Valance Dimock and Mike Coupe are very active around the various marinas.

At the Helm
Air New Zealand makes it easy to travel to Picton (at realistic prices) to check out any of the boats we have on our site. There are direct flights from Auckland to Blenheim with its Low Fare Finder Rates quoting $200 return trips (as at 30 July 2010) and we will pick you up from the airport, take you through to Picton, show you the boat(s) and drop you back at the airport free of charge!
Using Air New Zealand Low Fare Finder Rates from anywhere else, it is generally easy to get a flight from anywhere to Wellington (From Gisborne $160 return, Hamilton $160 return, Napier Hastings $140 return, New Plymouth $150 return, Tauranga $180 return, Rotorua $180 return and Wanganui $132 (all fares as at 30 July 2010)
Our Sales Berths are right in front of our office here on the Waikawa Marina.
